1 vs. 100 Player Cap Reached?

1 vs. 100 Player Cap Reached?

Thousands of gamers flocking to Xbox 360 Primetime to get their fill of trivia game action were met with the above error message. Apparently, either the U.S. beta has now been fitted with a player cap or the Canada beta never reached the number of players. This raises a question: Will everyone get a chance to experience the game? The in-game host noted that over 50,000 players were participating tonight. There are currently over 8,000,000 Gold members on Xbox LIVE. That’s 7,950,000 potential gamers being turned down. We’ll have to wait and see if the lack of space will be addressed in the final version of the game.

Can you imagine trying to play World of Warcraft and being told that you can’t because the game is full? Well, that’s the crap I just went through repeatedly as I tried to join the first game of the 1 vs 100 US beta.

Complete and total failure, Microsoft. That sucked.
