During all the craziness of E3 Microsoft announced that Last.fm would be coming to the Xbox 360 console this fall. So what is Last.fm and how much will it cost? Here is what we know.
The service will be made available later this fall. Once accessed on your Xbox 360 the Last.fm section of dashboard will allow you to have all the same features as you would on your PC. You can browse artists and tracks and compile custom playlists and even share those playlists, and other recommendations, with friends via “Party Radio” and check out artist pages complete with photos, band info and other info like how to find similar artists.
Expensive? Silver users will have access to a 3-month trial, with video advertising. Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day, but again ad-supported. To get Last.fm with no ads, you’ll need to subscribe, which will also get you a few extras like some personalization features.
No word on how much an Xbox 360 related subscription would cost you but a subscription for the PC cost around 3 dollars a month. You can check out Last.fm and everything it has to offer you here.

It's covered in the article:
"Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day, but again ad-supported. To get Last.fm with no ads, you’ll need to subscribe, which will also get you a few extras like some personalization features."
