Major Nelson as per usual has the Xbox Live figures up for us once again, and no surprises here kiddies… World at War is at the top and certainly doesn’t feel like shifting. The new map pack (entitled in such ‘barbant’ fashion) Map Pack 3 has no doubt kept the interest of the Xbox Live community. With more than 90,000 people registered on the multiplayer and 10,000 plus on Der Riese daily, it’s not much surprise this has come out on top. This has been followed closely behind by the usual suspects, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and trumping along in fourth as per usual…Gears of War 2. However in an interesting twist, the Lost Planet 2: Demo has mech-leaped its way to 5th just behind Gears.
On our Xbox Live Arcade figures, Shadow Complex has come out on top in its first week. Trails HD has come in at 2nd and Battlefield 1943 in at a strong 3rd. Other mentions are Marvel vs Capcom 2 in at 4th, with TMNT dropping to 5th from its previous 2nd position last week.
I wonder will next week bring any surprises with Mass Effect getting DLC around 2 years after it comes out? Will the loyal fanbase still be there to leap Mass Effect back into the top ten? Only time will tell.
