In another interesting event in the never ending drama that is the Duke Nukem franchise, a Facebook page believed to be maintained by 3D Realms owner Scott Miller now has an image described only as “D-Day Pic.” You may recall a Duke Nukem game entitled Duke Nukem: D-Day was actually a planned title on Sony’s Playstation 2, but was eventually cancelled.

The two other posts on the Facebook page seem to be possible one-liners or simply just statements to prove that the franchise will never die. The statements are “doesn’t stay down for long” and “I’ve been Shacked. Bring it on.”

So, could this be the resurrection of the presumed dead Duke Nukem Forever? Unfortunately it is too early to tell, but as Miller promises, “ Something big and unexpected will soon be announced.” Let’s just hope this one will take a little less  time than the last planned title took.
