12 Days of Gearsmas Announced

The 12 Days of Gearsmas have been announced, and recently had been under discussion for around a week on the Gears of War 2 forums. Now the list has been finalized. The event will start this Wednesday, and you better be ready because its a pretty stellar lineup.

To start things off everyone will have the golden weapons unlocked and the XP will be tripled instead of doubled. Every day will feature something different, see the list below:

Day 1: Everyone gets a “noobsaw”; this means that shooting the player will not stop the chainsaw, a kill is the only way to stop him. Triple XP.
Day 2: Two words, melee instagib; this means that one melee will cause your enemy to explode into pieces. Triple XP.
Day 3: Three frag grenades per pickup; you’ll be able to tag two and keep another handy. Triple XP.
Day 4: Four boomshots per boomshot; doubled from the current two. Triple XP.
Day 5: Five man free for all; Wingman will convert to this. Triple XP.
Day 6: Six satelites; infinite ammo for the Hammer of Dawn. Triple XP.
Day 7: Seven shells; more than double the normal ammo for the Mortar. Triple XP.
Day 8: Eight player retro; back to Gears 1 style four v. four. Triple XP.
Day 9: Ninth wave madness; Boomers invade every wave of horde ending in a nine. Triple XP.
Day 10: Ten waves of toughness; Kantus’ invade every wave of horde. Triple XP.
Day 11: Eleven meatflag mania; Submission special, six times the XP.
Day 12: Twelve days together; All of the above at once including the Submission XP.

So get ready for some madness!  Now would be the time to get that illusive level one hundred that you have been trying to get for ages.
