Just this week, 505 Games has revealed the first few glimpses at Naughty Bear, an upcoming comic mischief—from Artificial Mind & Movement (A2M)—of which we previously had limited knowledge. Watching the Naughty Bear trailer suggests that the title character Naughty Bear is a bit of a lonely creature who is somewhat of an outcast on the island where he lives. Despite not being invited to the big birthday party, Naughty Bear decides to take a present anyway but is only met with laughter from the others. Being ridiculed for the last time, Naughty Bear is finally taking vengeance out on Chubby, Giggles, and all of the other bears on the island.
It is hard to say if there will actually be any depth to game, but 505 Games promises that gamers will delight in tearing the stuffing out of everything cute and cuddly in Naughty Bear. The game will also feature numerous methods of dismembering, torturing, and scaring and there will also be a number of multiplayer games in which players will compete to earn the most Naughty Points. Naughty Bear is currently slated to release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 sometime during Quarter 2 of 2010 and will retail for $49.99 in the United States.
