New screenshots for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker have been made available by Konami showing off the game’s multiplayer aspect as well as some character art. Directed by series creator Hideo Kojima, Peace Walker is the first Metal Gear Solid title developed for the Playstation Portable.

The screenshots below show some new items, including a new tank style box used to hide from enemies as well as a curious balloon evacuation item similar to a Fulton Skyhook.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is expected to walk off the shelf in Japan on March 18 and North America May 25th.
