Broken Sword: A Celebration in UK

Broken Sword: A Celebration

To celebrate the iPhone and iPod Touch release of Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut—the handheld remake of the original Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars—game developer Revolution invites everyone in the area to a celebration party at the Apple Store on Regent Street in London, England. The celebration will take place on Thursday, February 4 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (GMT) and will bring together many key figures from the development of the game. Special guests will include Charles Cecil (director), Dave Gibbons (artist, co-creator of Watchmen), Miles Gilderdale (guitarist, Acoustic Alchemy), Barrington Pheloung (composer, known for work on Inspector Morse television series), Hazel Ellerby (original voice of Nico), and many more.

There will be interviews and the crew of Broken Sword will be sharing secrets behind the development and success of the series’ legacy. During the event, guests will be entertained with live musical performances and afterwards, there will be a drinks reception sponsored by Screen Yorkshire. Fans are also encouraged to bring along any merchandise that they may wish to have signed by the cast, crew, and other special guests. Admission into this smashing Broken Sword celebration will be absolutely free, but spaces are limited, so it is highly suggested that you reserve yourself a spot by calling the Regent Street Apple Store. Contact information can be found at their web site.
