A pleasantly surprised audience left San Francisco’s Moscone Center after Thursday night’s GDC Awards as host and game designer Warren Spector announced that a third Deus Ex game is in the works.

Spector, who worked on the first two games in the series, cryptically asked people not to leave yet as the ceremony ended. He at first reminisced about the early days with former development team Ion Storm and how they’ve since gone their separate ways. He then mentioned that there in fact, will be a third Deus Ex game and proceeded to show a teaser trailer, which you can view below.

The teaser trailer is just that — a teaser, as it reveals very little about the upcoming game, titled Deus Ex: Human Revolution. We’ll have to wait until E3 for more information, as mentioned in the trailer.
