Well, it seems that Activision has taken all the criticism for the pricing of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′s Stimulus Map Pack to heart and has decided to attempt and justify their $15 price point. Last week, they gave out free night vision goggle props for everyone’ s Xbox Live avatars, but early buyers of the map pack, as in day one, received another little quip in their message box. As a second attempt to please us, Activision is offering an entire week of free Gold status on the Live service for all of those aforementioned MW2 fans. So, if you decided to shell out the cash on the first day, check your inbox; your subscription will be updated by May 1st.
