Microsoft has signed a deal with ESPN to bring 3,500 live sporting events in HD to the Xbox Live network in one year. The service will also allow people to view archived games in high-definition, and will work with Kinect. Users will be able to use voice and controller commands to rewind, replay videos, switch between games, and will feature polls and trivia during live games.
Users will also be able to access ESPN.com’s game scores, video highlights, and news from other live games while watching their current stream. No word yet on a date, but will be free for Xbox Live Gold Members.
