Last night PSN users found themselves signed out and unable to log back in. The problem has since continued and could possibly truck on into the weekend says Sony.
“While we are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running. Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter. Please stay tuned to this space for more details, and we’ll update you again as soon as we can.”
PSN has been quite spotty over the last few days (I’ve had trouble logging in right from the system boot up for at least a week now) and I am wondering if this just occurred naturally or if mischievous beings are trying to make a point by ruining online gaming for everyone. Whatever the reason just know that those Portal 2 co-op achievements will have to wait, I for one will have to sit idle until then.

Nothing like getting back a company by ruining the experience for the users that have nothing to do with their target.

That’s exactly how these people operate. They think they’re making an important statement or fighting for some kind of cause, but they’re just worthless trolls.
