Golden Joystick And The GamesMaster Golden Joystick Ultimate Game of the Year Is...

In case you’ve never heard of the GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards (shame on you.) I will give you a quick rundown. The Golden Joystick awards have been running annually for the past 29 years. Each year they hand out several awards for the best titles from the past 12 months entirely decided by you, the gaming public. Now if that is not cool enough they also each year have a slew of first-looks and previews of some of the hottest upcoming titles.

On Friday the GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards got kicked off at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London. This year saw not only one of the closest races for many of the awards, but also four World-Exclusive looks at some upcoming titles.

The Exclusives that those attending got to check out included a first look at the Battlefield 3 Expansion Pack brought to you by Electronic Arts. Nintendo Launched the highly lauded Zelda: Skyward Sword. As well Namco showed off their latest title Inversion with playable content available to the public.
