Dragon’s Dogma is unique title for Capcom being there first attempt at creating an open-world RPG title. With veteran core members from the Devil May Cry development team heading this title, it does give me a bit of hope, even if Capcom’s titles have been a bit, weak, lately.
I’m sure many of you are thinking “Wait, wasn’t Dragon’s Dogma set to release in March?” And the answer is yes. Capcom has delayed the title from March to May, but as a sort of consolation prize they have given us some new footage of this sweet looking title.
You will be able to get pick up Dragon’s Dogma on May 22, 2012 here in North America, and May 25, 2012 everywhere else.
But I’m sure many of you aren’t here to read about Dragon’s Dogma, are you? No, you are here to read about the Resident Evil 6 demo that will be available once you’ve purchased your brand new copy of Dragon’s Dogma. Capcom released a statement today stating that with your purchase of Dragon’s Dogma, you will receive a “redeemable token” that can be used to download the Resident Evil 6 demo globally on July 3 for Xbox 360, and September 4 for Playstation 3 in North America and Japan. Sorry Europe you will have to wait another 24 hours after that to get it on Playstation 3.
There is no information of what is included in said demo, if I find anything more out I’ll let you know.
