Yes, I know, Mass Effect 3 isn’t even out yet and I’m telling you to not delete your saves. But an associate producer over at Bioware, Mike Gamble said in an interview with GamerZines that it “wouldn’t be a bad idea” to keep them.
He obviously didn’t get into any details as to why; but all we can do is assume that due to upcoming DLC’s and stuff of that sort it would be a bad idea to rid ourselves of saves from arguably one of the most anticipated games ever.
