Bioshock: Infinite Delayed To 2013

bioshock2 Bioshock: Infinite Delayed To 2013

In a sad announcement directly from Irrational Games, Bioshock: Infinite has been delayed to 2013, February 26th to be exact. Irrational cites simply wanting to put some more time into it and wanting to make sure that it’s completely up to their standards.

“we’re doing things that no one has ever done in a first-person shooter.” Said Ken Levine(lead designer on the game) in reference to why they want to spend more time with it.

We obviously can’t say that we are happy that Bioshock: Infinite has been delayed, but we respect Irrational’s decision to make sure that this game will appease the masses. So for now, we’ll simply have to replay through Bioshock’s 1 and 2 to keep us held over until February.

Levine totally comes off as a perfectionist, and for that I’m very thankful. Too bad System Shock 2 isn’t on Steam though – that too would be something to get into during the wait.
