My goodness, Microsoft needs a better firewall (preferably something not made by them, oh!). This is the second time in 72-hours that supposedly “new” product information has leaked out of Microsoft.
Today it’s the Microsoft Surface. This device (if real) will be a gaming tablet that supposedly supports up to four wireless controllers. After reading over the specs, I don’t think this is actually plausible. There are several things that stand out to me as fishy. First, 5Gb’s of DDR Memory in a tablet or any device is unheard of. Secondly, having two six cores CPU’s (running at 3.1Ghz a core I might add) would produce an insane amount of heat. And third is the inclusion of a SCSI drive. I’ve personally never seen a handheld device that uses a SCSI (not saying it isn’t possible, just not plausible).
So there you have it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and if Microsoft actually is able to pull it off, they’re pretty freaking great, but my money is on a hoax here.
