Yeah I know, I know. Another game from two system generations ago is being re-released in HD, but this time it might actually be worth your while. Capcom has announced today that it will be packaging two classic fighting games into what they are calling “Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins.” What is Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins you ask? Well let me enlighten you. Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins will be an Xbox Live/Playstation Network collection combining the original Marvel vs. Capcom and the game that started Marvel on the path of 2d fighting, Marvel Super Heroes. This will be the first time that both of these games will be available on current gen consoles, and it is about time. These are both fighting genre classics that still hold up well to this day. Both games will be getting some modern features too, with eight player lobbies and High Definition graphics.
The Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins package will run you $15 and will be available on Xbox Live and PSN this coming September! Check out the official announcement trailer below!
