As if the PS3 slim wasn’t slim enough for you guys. Earlier today the Japanese website PocketNews leaked a recently filed FCC Document that is apparently revealing a new slimmer model of the PS3, model name CECH-4001x. This would make sense when you consider the previous PS3′s model name is from the 3000 series.
If all this information turns out to be true, then the folks over at Eurogamer believe that the reveal will come later this year at Gamescon, where Sony revealed the the 3000 series a few years prior.
What’s your guys’ thoughts on Sony releasing yet another PS3 model, when the ones we have are perfect for what we use them for. Honestly, it feels like Sony is just attempting to milk us for what we’re worth before they reveal the Playstation 4. But that’s just me.
