Dear Gears of War, So here I am, four years later and I just found myself playing you again with the same guy I started playing you with. Something was different though, we were horrible and were the bottom of the rankings instead of top. Whereas we always used to pull a 1-2 finish. What happened? Whatever happened to me and you? You were my introduction to Xbox Live. You've helped cement so... more.

On that note, we'd love to share with you on a weekly basis the games that we have been playing. Maybe it will reveal that we are retro gamers, have an immense backlog to take care of or eve... more.

It seems that EA has a hard time coping that Activision owns the modern military shooter market. Someone at EA pushed Medal of Honor out before Call of Duty: Black Ops despite the title not passing quality assurance testing. Where Medal of Honor failed, they hope Bulletstorm will make up for it. It seems the company is so confident in their upcoming release that they have put out a parody of the t... more.

Twisted Pixel is a mini-champion of downloadable titles. The Maw? A simple, fun and charming game. 'Splosion Man? Entertaining, challenging and ridiculously fun. Comic Jumper? Funny, original and a little too ambitous. Did you see a trend among those titles? This studio brings a unique sense of humor that has been missing from gaming since the glory days of adventures games by Tim Schafer. Fortuna... more.

At the end of last year, I started hearing about a game called Raskulls on Xbox Live. Some critics praised the game as original and fun, while others said it was simply derivative of other titles. While critics may not agree on how good the game is, they all felt it was fun. Sadly there have been little to no updates on the title since release. Suddenly, a few days ago the first pack of downlo... more.

Every few years a game promises to be the epitome of the MMO experience yet so often they will release buggy, broken and unentertaining. Poor initial reviews lead to a smaller community, which is the real strength of any MMO. The latest... more.

For years hardcore gamers have chastised the PS3 as being a blu-ray player that just so happened to play a handful games. Early PS3 adopters attempted to justify their purchase with titles like Uncharted and Resistance, but those outside of Sony's sphere of influence were unswayed by these games. Each year since the consoles release, statements have been issued from Sony with an executive sayi... more.
