Rumor: Microsoft Set To Reveal New Xbox On April 26, And Possibly Partner With EA
0 CommentsPosted by DJ on under Articles & News, Rumor
It definitely makes sense that Microsoft would want to reveal the new Xbox at their own event. If you wait until E3, you're going to be sharing the limelight in one way or another -- but by utilizing your own event to announce your product, just like Sony did, you guarantee that your console will be the talk of the Interwebz for at least 24 hours, maybe longer if you show something of actual inter... more. -

We all know that Battlefield 4 is alive and breathing, I mean shoot, they gave out Beta codes for it with Medal of Honor: Warfighter. (apologies to those of you who bought it..) The thing we don't know is, well everything else.. It looks, though, like that may be changing today. A pair of ominous tweets were sent out late last night that has some people believing that there may be a Battlefie... more. -
Kotaku Source Claims PS4 Will Be Out This November

Hmm, interesting turn of events. Apparently a trusted Kotaku source has informed Kotaku that the new PS4, codenamed Orbis, will not only be launching this year (November), but will also be available at (roughly) $429 and $529. The first thing that becomes readily apparent is that there will be at least two models available at launch. Though the information from the source doesn't give us much t... more. -
Rumor: Even Slimmer Playstation 3 On The Way
0 CommentsPosted by DJ on July 5, 2012 under Articles & News, News, Rumor
As if the PS3 slim wasn't slim enough for you guys. Earlier today the Japanese website PocketNews leaked a recently filed FCC Document that is apparently revealing a new slimmer model of the PS3, model name CECH-4001x. This would make sense when you consider the previous PS3's model name is from the 3000 series. If all this information turns out to be true, then the folks over at Eurogamer beli... more. -
Consoles A Step Closer To Saying Bye-Bye?

As far away as it may seem, the eve of next generation consoles is upon us. And while rumors violently swirl around familiar monikers (PS4 and XBOX 720), and speculation of the Wii-U relentlessly propagate throughout the media and smaller outlets; Sony's recent financial investment is one that could re-instigate - if not quicken the obsoleting of console gaming. Gaikai, the cloud-based gam... more. -
Rumor: Half-Life 2:Episode 3 Concept Art? You Decide.

Now I'll be the first one to tell you that if this turns out to be real concept art from the highly-anticipated final chapter in the Half-Life 2 series, I will be as giddy as a school girl. Ever since my father bought me the original Half-Life 2 on CD-ROM for my PC back in 1998, I've been fascinated with the world Valve has created. The concept art was found on ValveTime, and unofficial Valve f... more. -
Rumor: More Microsoft Leaks

My goodness, Microsoft needs a better firewall (preferably something not made by them, oh!). This is the second time in 72-hours that supposedly "new" product information has leaked out of Microsoft. Today it's the Microsoft Surface. This device (if real) will be a gaming tablet that supposedly supports up to four wireless controllers. After reading over the specs, I don't think this is actuall... more. -
Rumor: Xbox 720 Details Leaked
2 CommentsPosted by DJ on June 16, 2012 under Featured, Rumor
Take everything you're about to read with a grain of salt. Until it's confirmed, it's all just a hoax in my mind. Supposedly earlier today a 56-page document leaked showing the whole five year game plan for Microsoft going forward, including the upcoming launch of the Xbox 720 in 2013. Sadly this document has already been removed by Covington & Burling LLP -- so the only information I have to ... more. -
[Rumor] Quantic Dream Ready To Show Next Project? Let’s Hope So!

There may not be a more polarizing Playstation Exclusive title than Heavy Rain. You either loved it or you hated it (I personally absolutely loved it). This has been the case with Quantic Dream's titles over the last few years (all two of them), and has lead to a lot of questions about when their next game will be announced, and what type of game it will be. Luckily it's looking like we may... more. -
Do You Like Need For Speed? How About Dead Space? Good….

EA has been hinting at a new Need for Speed and Dead Space for awhile now, but it now looks like we may actually get them this year *giddy*. I personally feel like they have been pumping out far too many Need for Speed games lately, although the latest batch of rumors are reporting that the next Need for Speed will be a sequel to Most Wanted, and that gets me excited. Need for Speed Most Wanted... more. -
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Could Be Announced Soon

A mysterious poster-image has been making its way around the internet today, seemingly advertising an announcement of CoD: Black Ops 2. The image, seen above, which Kotaku theorizes is a sure sign of an announcement date for the sequel to Black Ops, is of a slightly blurry man with a gun. "05/02/12" is the date written across the image with the ominous words "Return For Debriefing" written under... more. -
Dead Space 3 Leaked?

Oops. In yet another case of a retailer leaking a preorder on their website for a game that has yet to be officially announced, South African retail store BT Games has begun taking preorders for Dead Space 3 and have even listed the game on their website. Now this isn't the first sign of the upcoming title, an Israeli news show first leaked that the game was in production and even leaked some... more.
