Left for Resident Dead Evil 6/2?? Left 4 Dead 2 & Resident Evil 6 Crossover Goodness Is Happening

Arguably one of the oddest pairings I've seen in the gaming world -- the fine folks at Capcom and Valve are working together to do a Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 crossover. First off they are adding the four iconic Left 4 Dead 2 characters; Coach, Rochelle, Ellis, and Nick to Resident Evil 6 for the PC, in the PC-exclusive mode -- The Mercenaries No Mercy, but are also adding two of the in... more. -

Is it the wireless controller? The 'God mode' that helps you smite your enemies? Or maybe you're thankful for the 'wall jump'? Well, Go Gaming Giant is thankful for many things (including great readers like you),... more. -

Best Video Game Vehicles

Video game vehicles always seem so much cooler than normal ones, and they really should be cool since no hero is going to be caught dead in a Ford Pinto. These "rides" that game characters show off can range from average (with cool looks) to futuristic. And that's all a part of being a hero: having a vehicle to back up your personality. G3 checks out some of the coolest "rides" in video games, sta... more. -

Left 4 Dead 2 Review

Boycott. The idea seems very popular lately. Left 4 Dead 2 experienced one of these shortly after Valve announce the title due to the fact that L4D2 would be released within one year of the original and might threaten the DLC support L4D was supposed to receive. Modern Warfare 2 also experienced a similar boycott. With the economy the way it is, people seem to scrutinize more than ever if a... more. -

Halloween Week: The Future of Fear

For some, fear is an art; for even fewer, fear is the perfect premise for a video game. The number of those who call survival horror games their favorite kind is dwindling with each passing month which yields few or no released in the genre. In fact, rather than being strengthened by the huge games it could previously lay claim to, survival horror has lost its biggest contenders in Resident ... more. -

We recently had the opportunity to sit down and interview Chet Faliszek, the Writer of Left 4 Dead 2. You may notice that some of these questions have already been answered, but this was because Valve was extremely busy with the $25 million marketing for the game. Thanks to the staff for helping prepare some questions. The Jockey was revealed at PAX and it says that you should keep movin... more. -

Final Two Left 4 Dead 2 Campaigns Leaked *Update*
1 CommentsPosted by Dillon on October 12, 2009 under News
It has been reported that the final two campaign posters for Left 4 Dead 2 have been leaked. Dead Center, which may take place in a mall, hence the tagline, and Hard Rain, which may take place in a refinery, and is likely to be the level which the Director 2.0 has control over the weather. Kind of weird that an Asian website has the scoop on things, but we're pretty sure this is not a fake, but it... more.

Left 4 Dead 2 Scavenger Mode Announced

The new game type that will ship with Left 4 Dead 2 has been announced. In it the survivors have to collect gas cans and pour them into a generator. They must do this while battling the clock and the infected, so it sounds like a combination of survival and versus. Every time you add fuel to the generator, you get a point and add time to the clock; whichever of the two teams gets the most poin... more. -

It was just over a year ago when I was chosen from a contest to attend X08. I was thrilled, I would be going to an event where I can try all the new upcoming games before they were out, I would also get to meet some cool industry people. When I got to the event I saw many people with press badges on, these people had been there for most of the day, conducting interviews, writing previews etc. I... more.
