Transformers: War for Cybertron Review
0 CommentsPosted by Fabian Kerschl on July 4, 2010 under Articles, Reviews
Firstly, it's important to dispel any ambiguity about exactly which product is being described in this Transformers: War for Cybertron review. There are versions of this game for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS, but they truly comprise three completely separate games in their own rights - this review is about the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 offering. War for Cybertron rests in the unenviable positi... more. -

E3 2010: Homefront Trailers & Interview

Above, THQ and Kaos Studios present a look at the future history of Homefront, their upcoming action game centring on an occupied United States, and it is definitely unsettling. The attention to detail here, and the effort clearly put in to make it appear realistic and plausible, makes it somewhat concerning to watch, but definitely whets my appetite for the game. We have another Homefront tr... more. -

Fallout: New Vegas E3 2010 Trailer

No one appreciates good, old-fashioned music in this Fallout: New Vegas E3 2010 Trailer, provided exclusively by GameTrailers. What they do appreciate, it seems, is a good sniper rifle. That and enough explosions to shake a stick of dynamite at. For my part, just watching this trailer has made me want to load up Fallout 3 again. Check out the rest of the videos from the Pre-E3 2010 Weekend T... more. -
Dead Space 2 E3 2010 Trailer

Some of the most notable features of this trailer include some sort of impaling nail gun, the ability to direct yourself in zero gravity with air jets and actually seeing Isaac's face! This Dead Space 2 E3 2010 Trailer, provided exclusively by GameTrailers, is chock full of horrible alien zombie action... although there are surprisingly few of the "strategic dismemberments" that EA is usually s... more. -
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II E3 2010 Trailer

Perhaps swimming a little against the greater critical current, I felt quite positively towards Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It undoubtedly had many flaws, but the direction it was taking, of the incredible experimental power of the force in the hands of a man willing to go all out with it, was incredibly entertaining to me. So, if even half the stunts performed in this Star Wars: The Force U... more. -

EA Sports officially announced FIFA 11 today, though of course a sequel to that franchise is a foregone conclusion. A little disappointingly in this day and age, there wasn't even so much as a teaser trailer, but we do have a number of high resolution images for you to take a look at below. Also included in the announcement was a significant focus on the new "Personality+" feature, which reads ... more. -

In a weird turn of events, the next patch for the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been delayed by a transportation strike in Romania. How could this be? Publisher EA's Quality Assurance department in Europe is based in Romania, and BC2's developer, and EA subsidiary, DICE is based in Sweden. For those of you who may be geographically challenged, Sweden is in Europe, and as such DI... more. -

The Creative Assembly and Sega have announced that the next installment in the Total War franchise will be a return to its very first setting, feudal Japan, ten years after the original Shogun: Total War was released. It will be known as Shogun 2: Total War, due to the somewhat idiosyncratic sequel naming convention that Total War employs. Check out the full announcement trailer below. ... more.
