Doom 3 was not that bad. In fact it was pretty good in a lot of aspects. However, purists of the Doom franchise can agree that Doom 3 did not live up to the expectations of the original Doom and Doom 2. Boycott. The idea seems very popular lately. Left 4 Dead 2 experienced one of these shortly after Valve announce the title due to the fact that L4D2 would be released within one year of the original and might threaten the DLC support L4D was supposed to receive. I remember buying Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick back in 2003 for the original Xbox, and I had high hopes to be sure. Dead Rising had a simple concept: kill zombies, take pictures and live to tell the tale. Of course the plot was a bit cheesy and predictable at times, but that does not make it any less of a great game to play.
